Driveway Gate Styles

Standard Double Gates

The classic choice for UK homeowners. These consist of two equal-sized leaves (a 50/50 split) that open outward or inward.

  • Available in: Wooden, Metal, Metal-Framed, Hardwood, or Composite.

Sliding Gates

Ideal for driveways with limited “swing” space or steep inclines. A single leaf slides laterally to open. Large widths are often shipped in two sections and bolted on-site to ensure structural integrity.

Space Tip: You will need side clearance equal to the gate width plus a roughly 0.8m overhang.

3/4 Split Gates

A versatile two-leaf system where one gate is larger than the other. This is a perfect “all-in-one” solution, allowing the smaller leaf to act as a pedestrian entrance. We manufacture these up to 9ft per leaf.

Bi-Fold Gates

Constructed from three or more folding sections, bi-fold gates are the ultimate space-savers. They are perfect for short driveways where a standard swing gate would hit a vehicle or the house. Larger models may include a jockey wheel for added support.

  • Garden Gates (Under 4ft 6″): Short pedestrian gates available in various designs. Our best-seller is the Baywood, featuring an elegant open-spindle top.
  • Side Gates (5ft – 7ft): High-security pedestrian gates designed for side paths. Popular models include the Brentwood (Wood), The Cheltenham (Metal), and the York (Metal-Framed). These can be fitted with integrated key locks and handles.
